Through the early years Adam was watched by someone who lived opposite from him, Tom, a person 9 years older than him, obsessed with Adam.
Before the age of 10 Adam was assaulted by Tom, and in some twisted circumstance, was allowed to continue living opposite Adam.
Every night Tom would be watching up at Adam, Adam would normally be up on a desk right next to his window working on game design, art or complex math, and would normally go to sleep around 2 AM.
This one night was different, an outline of a ship hovered above Adam's house, not fully visible, completely see through, apart from an outline, with a lightly darkened area. A flash of light happened in Adam's window.
The next day, after spending the day at school explaining to a number of fellow students what happened, Adam went for a walk up onto some farmland to get a better view of Waltham Abbey.
Alone wandering on a farm at Lea Vally View, looking over the valley from atop of the hill, a few other people approached, some younger, my age and some older.
One of the ladies my age sat next to Adam on top of a tractor, Adam pointing out that he enjoyed the view, showing his favorite constellation, Orion.
Adam felt sharp jealousy from Tom which was apart of the group. Coming for a peaceful time alone to watch the stars, and the sharpened emotion of jealousy making the area feel uncomfortable, Adam decided to slowly make an exit politely.
Tom loudly approached with insults acting aggressively, stating Adam was trying to get on his girlfriend, he dragged Adam away, Adam yelling "Sorry, please dont hurt me, I didn't know" as Tom acted like Adam interrupt something. The woman hid as Tom proceeded to do damage to Adam, pulling a coat hanger to rip apart Adam's head, through his nose, he pulled a small stone out, and placed in a barrel outside. One of the women grabbed it and ran to safety, not knowing what she had discovered.
Tom after severely damaging Adam looked away for a few moment to find Adam was gone, he was able to escape, Adam moved on and suppressing the horrid event, his head was fuzzy for a few week, so bad that his parents wondered if Adam was on drugs, but Adam's head recovers over time to become intellectual, because adam loved studying.
Even though the event was forgotten, later Adam would be forced to remember again what happened that day.
